This is my wife's SUV that she drives everywhere. Long trips or around town. The problem is intermittent and does not happen every day, but often enough that she worries about driving it and getting stranded somewhere. I have seen on YouTube several things, parts under $50. that could cause the problem but the dealer wants $900 to put them on. Or a new ignition system which would cost much more. The vehicle has been really good until this started shortly before the warranty expired. The service dept. was told about the problem but they said they couldn't find anything wrong. The parts on the internet suggested to change was the steering wheel lock and the brake switch. Nissan has to know about this problem because it is all over the internet. Thanks.
