Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Vehicle locks automatically, without warning. The van has locked automatically both when the ignition was on, and when it was off. Also, when using the key to manually open the doors, it is difficult to get the doors open on the first try. This is on on-going problem. This is a dangerous condition, especially when one considers that the sale of minivans are primarily targeted to drivers with children.

Automatic locks will intermittently activate when key is in the ignition. On one occasion while refueling the vehicle the doors locked, in which the consumer was locked out of the vehicle, vehicle has been examined by dealer but they were unable to duplicate the problem, the vehicle car alarm sounds on its own intermittently, the dealer was unable to duplicate this problem, the radio volume goes down by itself.
