When I drive my car for 45 mins or over, the accelerator gives up on me so that when I'm pressing the gas pedal the speed reduces instead of increasing. This has happened to me 3 times so far but the latest was when I was on i95 South heading to NY for a funeral. Luckily I have been fortunate enough to be able to pull over on the breakdown lane but this situation could have been deadly for me and my children.

The first 2 times I fought with this car so much that I twisted my ankle and had a hard time walking for days. The last time, I pulled over, turn it off for about 20 mins and the car ran as if nothing was wrong. It does not seem to do that on short & local drives. I am now afraid of taking my car long distance and that is very inconvenient for me. I had no idea that others were having the same issues until I stumble on this website. I really need that Nissan takes responsibility and generate a Recall for this issue!
