"takata recall" my passanger seat belt light has been on for the pass 6 months. No accidents, car was stationary. I have no problems yet, but I read on other websites that this is a common problem I N the 2009 Nissan Rogue and that it is expensive to get fixed. If this is because of a manufacturer defect, I would like it fixed by a Nissan dealership for free.

One day I started my car and the air bag light came on the dash board blinking for a minute and then stay on the whole time until I turn off my car, took it to a dealer and was told that the passenger side sensor under the seat is bad, they wanted to charge me $1,200 to fix it, this happened right after the warranty expired around 72000 miles, so I have not fix it yet and as of today 01/03/2017 the air bag light is still on, I'm thinking that if I ever have an accident the passenger air bag will not deployed due to this problem, I hope that this report will help other people to come forward and report this problem so it can get resolved...

This is to report the constant flashing airbag warning signal on the panel of my vehicle. Now the signal has advanced to include a person with a balloon bag in a sitting position. I have just over 60,000 miles but the airbag light has been coming on but not going off now it's constant. I contacted Nissan service to report the problem and asked if it could be looked at as a recall item. I was told that it was not a recall problem and I will need to pay $128 for a diagnosis test. Of course I'm not paying for a problem that is known to be defected. I'm still waiting on a service manager to call me regarding their response. In reading all the other airbag problems someone needs to check into this serious matter that may cause harm. This occurs no matter where the vehicle is the light comes on and will not go out when driving.

" takata recall"-my passenger air bag light went on and then the airbag light on the dashboard. I went to the dealer and they charged me to tell me I have defective airbags. I was told they are not under any warranty or recall. I juts bought the car used from Nissan in Feb 2015. They are saying I have to start with replacing my passenger seat and that will be$1,900 and there is no guarantee that the repair will stop there. I was told that none of the airbags will function until this is repaired.

My air bag light continues to blink indicating something wrong with my passenger side air bag. I was told that due to this problem, the passenger seat needed to be replaced. An expensive repair. Recall reference #ntb08-095C specifically addresses this problem. However, my vehicle was is included in the recall. I feel that my Nissan Rogue 2009 ( produced in Jan 2009) and the air bag manufactured by takata, should be included in the recall and repaired. This is a problem, with numerous people also posting about it. Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter.
