This started when my battery began to lose power. I got a new battery after my car would not start early one morning...at that point the engine would turn over but not start. After I had the new battery installed, it worked fine for two days. Then, on the third day, I got in my car and there was no power at all...no lights, nothing. The car would not start. I tried and tried and finally I got the power back and it started. I drove about 10 miles, turned it off. Several minutes later I tried to start it and nothing just like before only this time I couldn't get it started. Then when my arm accidentally hit the steering wheel, the power was restored...lights came on and I started it. I then drove the car to my dealer and rented a car while they worked. While the dealer had the car, it never had the problem. They started it seven times over a day and even drove it. They said they couldn't do anything until they saw the problem. I picked it up and drove it home. It is now one week since this problem began and it has happened 3 more times after I got it back from the dealer. It is now Sunday morning and I can't start my car! I loved my Rogue, but not now!

Interesting things that have also happened...When I slam the doors, sometimes the lights come on and then I can start the car. Other times, they stay on until I put the key in the ignition and then the lights and power go off. When this happens, I hear a winding noise in the car. I have even had the car alarm sound and when I get it turned off, I still can't start the car.
