I bought this Rouge brand new in Jan 2011. The transmission does whine pretty loud but I can deal with that. Right after I hit 50,000 miles I started to have issues.
If I drive long distance (more than an hour or two) The transmission will not respond when pressing on the pedal. I will push it all the way to the floor and nothing happens. The car will usually continue at the same speed but will not accelerate. I have contacted Nissan and they said they have not had this complaint before. I know it is very expensive to fix and they extended the transmission warranty on previous years of this model. I am waiting for them to extend it for this model.
