This was the very first problem after less than 2 month ownership of the new Rogue....a complete shock and also a start of continuing nightmare. The engine was replaced in Nov. 2016, and then multiple problems (not sure if it is linked to the replacement of engine) have been coming....engine flushing, CVT seal leak, engine over-temperature, etc. I literally need to visit the dealer every month with issues (what I understand relevant to the engine replacement). With less than 6 month of this "new" Rogue, the CVT are to be eventually replaced ...shame of Nissan's quality and reputation...I have been stayed in the loaner for more than a month within a half year, and they refuse to acknowledge this is a lemon car (it is ridiculous if you say a car not a lemon given two most important components are replaced in a 6-month old car). They continued saying that they would repair the vehicle to specifications...but how...they were even reluctant to send down an experienced mechanic to look over the repair (quality control)! Nissan is lucky as Canadian Law is so weak in protecting the motor vehicle consumers ...CAMVAP would do nothing and I sometimes think they stand for the auto manufacturers. Stay away from Nissan for ever!!!
