We bought a brand new 2016 Nissan Rogue, and currently have 30K miles on it. Shortly after we bought it, we started hearing a significant popping noise every now and them when we back up. It almost felt like we hit something, but did not. This happened multiple times but not on a regular basis. My husband has taken it to the dealership several times now, and they can't find the problem. Told us they would document it. To top it off, about two-three weeks ago, it started leaking oil.

My husband took it to the dealership again, and they dropped the engine and replaced the crankcase gasket. Picked it up, drove it, and it's leaking oil again. Have it back at the dealership. This time, since we've had to take the car back so many times, they rented us a car, and have ordered another gasket. They will drop the engine again and try to fix.

SO disappointed in this vehicle. We actually looked at a much nicer vehicle but it was used and had 30K miles on it. We thought since our old Nissan Pathfinder had been so good, we would go with the brand new Nissan Rogue. Big mistake. We bought a new vehicle so we wouldn't have to worry about repairs. My guess is we've had it in the shop about 4-6 times with problems since we bought it. I am really worried that once the warranty has run out, we're screwed.
