In September 2023, my 2016 Nissan started vibrating with noise. It was not shortly after that a warning appeared on the console. The warning, "Chassis Control System Error" caused research as the vehicle worsened. As I was driving, a warning of the brakes shutting down appeared. I returned home in time, and parked the vehicle. The truck was then sent to the mechanic where I was told that the transmission failed. The CVT failed at 83,000 miles. The vehicle is currently at a Nissan dealership service department, while I'm in the process of litigation with Nissan North America, Inc. Nissan offered just $1500 towards an estimated $6000 CVT repair bill. This problem is an extension of the 2022 Class Action Lawsuit that needs to be re-established. Nissan manufactured the vehicles with the knowledge of the defective CVT and did not make the consumers aware of the defect. Nissan dealerships also needs to be held accountable for their knowledge of the fraudulent act of Nissan to the consumers. Dealerships sold the vehicles also with the knowledge of the defective CVT. Nissan manipulated the law with a bogus extended warranty that protects Nissan from having to correct the wrong.

Nissan knowingly manufactures vehicles with defective transmissions. This has been well documented as it has been the subject of several class-actions suites. Unfortunately, I was unaware of this issue until my own Transmission failed a week ago. Driving, even short distances became very dangerous, as the vehicle would suddenly fail to accelerate or shift into the proper gears.

on a few occasions in 2022 (3 that im aware of) the rogue would stop accelerating. The top speed was about 15 miles an hour while the RPMs ran about 4000. Last week the problem happened again. I was 1 mile from a mechanic so I drove it slowly in. The mechanic hooked up some diagnostic equipment (about the size of an iPad )and was able to confirm that I had a transmission issue. He let me know that I needed to bring it into a Nissan dealership for the repair. He was aware of the problems with the Nissan CRT transmission and thought it may haver been recalled. The mechanic reset the error codes to I could drive it home. That was a few days ago and the car is running fine still. I took the car to Nissan of Devon to have the problem addressed but they were not able to do anything since the error codes had been reset. They did recommend I spend $150 for a software update. I had that done. The problem now is that the car is at 83,453 miles. The dealership let me know that in Leo of a recall the warranty was extended but the new expiration is now 84,000 miles. That doesn't leave many miles to go. Even though the problem with the transmission is dangerous I need to drive it in HOPES of making the situation happen again in the next week or so.

I have a 2026 Nissan Rogue and was driving on the interstate. Thought I got bad gas because I could push the accelerator and not go any faster. My check engine light came on and I had it tested. It is showing P2004 intake manifold runner control stuck open bank 1. I know some Nissan's have a recall on this but not my VIN number. Was wondering if this is a issue with other people and if would be a recall at some point.

When I push the gas the car barely moves - literally - and then it will go all the sudden. It has almost caused multiple accidents because I can find no rhyme or reason to when it will happen.

I purchased a 2016 Rogue sv (VIN [xxx], I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle since I brought it home. I had the head unit replace no less than 4 separate times because it would stop working and go black. The car had less than 10,000 miles on it. I was told it was being replaced with a "brand new unit". the dealership forgot to transfer my xm subscription to the new unit, so when I called to activate I find out not only is it not new, its 4 years older than the car I own. While replacing this the technicians destroyed the surrounding trim. Last June my car started stalling out, this happened on multiple occasions. The engine died but the electrical components stayed on. It has died at gas stations, stop lights and pulling onto a roadway. It continues to shudders at stop lights. Nissan was unable to replicate the events so I was told to take it home. Last week my Rogue began to push 6000 rpms while on the highway, pedal to the floor and I never made it above 45mph. During this event the car wouldn't go below 4000rpms, this event lasted about 30mins. This happened multiple times and we have video of the events, about 15 minutes worth. I was told this week that the dealership had sent the issues to Nissan, and that with the video/the complaints that Nissan would replace and fix what they believed to be the problem, something with the transmission. The dealership then called my husband and told him that we could pick up the vehicle and take it home. They told him that "Nissan created a technology" that is now installed in the vehicle so the next time an event happens it will record it, to continue driving it for a 1,000 miles. I feel unsafe in this vehicle. I do not trust this vehicle to deliver my daughter and I safely and reliably to our destination. I will be happy to share the video as well information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

In October of 2018 I took my SUV with pictures to let them know that I tachometer was going up to high I was putting on the gas but my vehicle wasn't moving. They had it for three days and said nothing was wrong. I went back to have my oil changed and I let me know I was still having the problems. Nothing every done. On Saturday I went an got gas and the engine light came on I took it to O'reilly to see what the code showed it said dtc P0776; pressure control solenoid B. there was a young man that worked on cars there and he explained to me the issue was in the transmission. He said this doesn't occur over night and had I taken it to the dealership and I told him yes and he told me to call them. I called them this morning and the service manger told me I never complained again and I did but nothing was done. Maybe it because I didn't purchase it from them. I have 66,000 miles this a shame they don't care. I am currently in gary, Indiana helping to assist with my elderly mother that has dementia, this is the reason I went to the Nissan dealership in address: 220 verplank road, chesterton, in 46304 phone: (219) 787-1777 at: Bob rohrman please contact me by email or phone

The accelerator sensing is erratic. Seems accentuated when turning either direction. When turning and leaving a stop, often instead of accelerating proportionally to accelerator depression, it will actually slow down instead of speed up. This could be quite dangerous when turning into the path of an oncoming vehicle that is far enough away that normal acceleration would place you out of the oncoming cars' path. Instead, you may be slowed enough unexpectedly to be in that oncoming cars' path. Mentioning this on a forum on the web brought a response that questioned the proper funtioning of the throttle position sensor. This failure is intermittent. One never knows whether the ability to accelerate from a stop when turning will meet the expected and required result. Intermittent unintended small bursts of acceleration occur sporadically when trying to drive slowly through a parking lt for instance. I liken it to a dirty or defective volume control on an old radio, where turning the knob to increase volume has little to no effect until you turn it far enough to reach a non-defective spot in the control and the volume immediately jumps significantly.

The tank opening allows a diesel fuel nozzle to fit and their sarcastic representative named coutney told me that is not their problem. It cost me over 8 hundred dollars in cost to pump out diesel gas and tow charges. Nissan towing service would not help me when I was stranded by a busy 4 lane hwy. My car was about 2 weeks old. I pumped the gas and got on the high way and my car began jerking until it finally died. They road side service used the excuse that I said I was afraid stting like that so close to the high way not to give any assistance at all. I'd like to know, since Nissan does not help customers at ll once they buy their cars, if there is any place that would remove them from the us. They should not be allowed to continue to sell cars with no assistance to customers and they contradict what the sales offices tell customers about such things as road side service. I don't think it is fair to americans that they are allowed to continue sales when they will not assist with any problems. "this is my second Nissan and it was the same with the first. It is the corporate people I am complaining about. I have no problems with the dealer in high point nc where I bought the car. You give the means to contact Nissan customer service in franklin but the truth is there is NO0 assistance to be had by these people. They are a waste of time.
