Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

PUT NEW BRAKES AND ROTORS ON, HAD IT CHECKED OUT ON SEVERAL OCCASION NO PROBLEM FOUND, THE BRAKES WHEN ENGAGE AT 10 TO 12 MPH MAKE A GRINDING SOUND THEN THE STOPPING DISTANCE INCREASES AND THE PEDAL STIFFENED UP. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL PERIOD.

Brake light and ABS light come on. Brakes are mushy and make loud grinding noise. Brake pads and rotors have been replaced. Brakes basically fail. Turn truck off and restart and lights go out and brakes work properly. This has happened at least six times. I hear there is a class action lawsuit, but the attorney I contacted is not taking anymore cases at this time. Now the truck is in the shop. Mechanic saying wheel bearing is to blame, $819.

Dealership can never find a solution to the problem. As this is a life threatening situation when my breaks cannot work, it will be too late to complaint if anything happens to my family and I.
