05 Nissan Titan XE; had a rear passenger rear axle leak. You can notice the leak on the back of the brake. The reason why it failed was because the breather valve on the top of the axle housing(passenger side) was clogged. Even if you change out the axle seal and don't change out the breather, you will run into the same problem. With the axle seal worn, there was a lot of debris in the axle housing. I had to clean all the dirt in there because it went into the bearing and splines at the end of the axle causing an awful noise while driving that I had to immediately pull over. You do have to get a grinder to cut off bearing and a chisel and hammer to get it off according to the Nissan OEM repair manual. And make sure you know someone with a hydraulic press to get it pressed on in order.
