I have 2007 Nissan Versa. After about two years the driver's side sun visor lost tension in the spring (torque) and wouldn't stay up. Nissan said it was unfortunate and these things happen but we had to replace it to the tune of about $125.00. Since then, we've replaced the visor two additional times. The car is nine years old and has had four visors. Nissan said there was never a recall and no one else made any complaints. Really?????!!!!!

However, for the first time in nine years, someone at the dealership told us there was an 800 number at Nissan to file a complaint with and my problem will be heard. You should receive a return call in 24 hours. It's been a week and still no call. Nissan is slow to respond. My car is in good condition otherwise. Oh, forgot to mention that the transmission was also replaced on this car at 30,000 miles. The good news is that the transmission was still under warranty. So now, I await to hear from Nissan. I refuse to shell out another dime on a visor and will probably rip it off if they won't replace it free. Anyone else have this problem?

Of note to Nissan - we had a Ford Taurus that was 18 years old. When we traded it in, it still had the original visor, never had an issue.

There won't be another Nissan for this household!!!!
