It clatters because of the broken clasps and it shakes and rattles every time I turn it on.

NISSAN DEALERSHIP WANTS TO CHARGE $927.67 TO FIX AND UNBEKNOWNST TO ME I HAVE THE GAP AND EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERAGE FOR 120.00 MILES,BUT THE CAT. CONVERTER WARRANTY IS FOR 80,000 MILES AND MY CAR HAS 89,927. ITS A 2007 VERSA SL AND I'M THE 1ST OWNER,BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND SPANKING NEW. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR OR A NISSAN FOR THAT MATTER TO ANYONE.

I'VE EXPERIENCED EVERYTHING BUT PLEASURE WITH THIS CAR. IT WAS THE FIRST FLEET MODEL INTRODUCED BACK IN 2007 AND EVERY TIME SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH THE CAR THE SERVICE ADVISOR ALWAYS TELLS THAT B/C IT'S A NEW MODEL THE KINKS & BUGS AREN'T ALWAYS COMPLETELY WORKED OUT & SOMETIMES FAILURES CAN'T ALWAYS BE SHOWN.

UGGH,I CAN'T COUNT ON 5 PEOPLE'S FINGERS & TOES HOW MANY TIMES I'VE HAD TO TAKE THIS CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. I'M TEMPTED TO CLOCK-IN UPON MY ARRIVAL. FROM TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT SIGNALS,TO RPM & TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. THE CAR WAS ONLY 2 YRS OLD & THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE REVOLUTIONS KEPT GETTING STUCK BETWEEN 2 & 3 AND I COULDN'T ACCELERATE,EVEN WHEN PUSHING DOWN ON THE GAS ALL THE WAY. ONCE IT GOT STUCK AND ALMOST CRASHED ME & MY INFANT CHILD IN THE DITCH.

I'M EAGER TO TRADE THIS CAR OFF AND GET ME A LEXUS OR TOYOTA. EVERY CAR HAS ISSUES DOWN THE ROAD,BUT HAVEN DRIVEN 2 TOYOTA CARS BEFORE,THEY NEVER GAVE ME THIS MANY MAJOR ISSUES & TRYING A NISSAN WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I MADE.

SO PLEASE MY FRIENDS,DON'T BUY A NISSAN. EVEN THE ALTIMAS ARE POOR CHOICES. I'VE BEEN GIVEN NUMEROUS ALTIMAS WHEN MY CAR WAS SERVICED & THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY USE TO BE,THEY LOOK SWELL ON THE OUTSIDE,OH YEA,NICE,O BUT DRIVE IT FOR A LITTLE WHILE & YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN----DON'T BUY A NISSAN BUT IF YOU DO,STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM THE VERSA'S.EVEN THE NEW ONES. LOOKS ARE SO DECEIVING!!

problem #1

Dec 202010

Versa SL 1.8L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

I have had many cars over the years which I always kept for 7-14 years and were never garaged. Living in Illinois there was a lot of salt and horrible weather. I have put over 160,000 miles on cars that were 7-10 years old and never had to replace a catalytic converter. My car is 3 years old and the 100,000 miles was put on in the state of KY were we don't much bad weather at all, and gravel is mostly used to treat the roads. My versa has been services religiously by the dealership. I can't believe that the converter is bad and they want 1400.00 to replace it.
