Electrical issue with my pontiac g6 I have had to replace my headlights bulbs multiple times due to the plugs melting I have actively seen the plug smoking and it has happened on both of my drl/low beam headlight bulbs resulting in plugs having to be replaced multiple times as well. My engine light isn't working and yet I have engine codes my service air bag light comes on at random my buckle seat belt light won't go off it stays on when I'm buckled in the driver's seat. My pressure sensor on my fuel tank has low voltage issues. When shutting the car off and opening the driver door all accessories that should of shut off are still active including the radio. The oil light is always turning on but the vehicle isn't low on oil nor does the message appear. When plugging in a car scanner the anti theft system light turns on and at random times will shut the car off. When the car scanner gets plugged in the rpms drop for a second and then go up as well. At times only one of my headlights work and I have to smack the headlight that isn't working to get it working.

Bad fuel leak, location from top of fuel cell, Definitely from the fuel pump area of the top of the tank. Can't drive because it leaks so bad that fuel is dropping on top of the exhaust pipes and I am afraid of a fire any time driving the vehicle.i really like the vehicle but can't drive it because of safety reasons. What now" I have read of other G6 Pontiacs having recalls done so why isn't my vin. Covered the same way" I am very concerned about this leak and for others with the same, considering that it is high risk for loss of life...

The plastic hose that comes off the fuel pump cracked causing fuel to leak out of my car and very strong gas Vapors inside of my car. The smell of gas inside my car was so strong it literally made me sick not to mention gas leak in everywhere is never good. There was no light sensor or anything that come on to give any warnings still no lights on no check engine no nothing just fuel sausage and the smell is how I discovered it also there are many others with the Pontiac G6 GT they have the same issue which is why we are trying to report it to y'all as a safety concern

i was driving my car and stopped at a stop sign and my car shut down could not get it to turn back on at all had to get it towed to my apt then get it towed to a mechanic he said it was the starter and said it will continue to turn off untill the throttle body and map sensor are fixed also said 8f i turn my ac on it will turn off because something about the valve broke I'm not sure what that meant but i only had the car not even 3 months I spoke to the car lot who sold it to me and he told me i would have to pay for it and i don't have that kind of money i spent $3500 for the purchase of the car not so it can brake down 2 months later

Headlight went out. Upon changing it I noticed that wiring harness was burnt and melted. Also was driving and power steering went out driving 65 miles per hour. The cruise control got stuck. My 2007 Pontiac G6 smells like gasoline every time I drive it....the dealership will not help me...they said they know what the problem is but they refuse to tell me how to fix it...they said it costs at least $1200. I am disabled I do not have any money to fix this problem....I receive $1064. Per month social security... I know thousands of people have this exact problem yet there is no recall...so, does someone have to die in order to get this gasoline problem repaired?? I'm waiting....waiting....waiting

The problem is my gas tank. Sometimes the tank shifts where I can barely get the gas nozzle into the gas tank as it is partially blocked. It first happened over a couple of years ago, but then it goes back into place. I used the date of the most recent time I noticed it happened. I figured this was wear and tear, but I'm seeing other complaints that may be related to this. I am seeing complaints of the same car about a strong gas smell, with leaks, though, I have never noticed either one. I, also, saw a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix recall on a gas tank seal.

I have replaced the alternator, the electric power steering assist motor and air filter on multiple occasions and, after doing some research, have found that my car is experiencing every issue th's to have seen in previous GM vehicle safety recalls. Unfortunately, my VIN number seems to be one of those that has not been identified has having had those issues although it currently is experiencing them. I want to lodge a complaint that the VIN number search tool is not accurate enough to determine the validity of a claim. I say this because even on the NHTSA website, the tool says that not all VIN numbers that are experiencing issues with a recall have actually been associated to any recalls. As there do exist current recalls for all 07 Pontiac G6 models, there are no recalls related to my specific VIN number. But, all of the recalls directly mention every issues that my car is currently experiencing. Including, the transmission not properly shifting due to a madness or break in the shift cable, the power steering motor suddenly dying, the car experiencing a sudden loss of power, etc. Each of these issues is directly mentioned in a recall for G6 models in general, but for some reason, not for my car, specifically?

Power steering message pops up and it makes it very hard to turn. This may happen when you crank the vehicle or will happen while driving the vehicle. It makes it pull to the side. It is very dangerous. Also, my car has a problem with the gas(fuel pump) the fuel pump leaks fast onto the gas tank. That is a fire hazard. It is also horrible on my gas mileage. There needs to be a recall and if there is one already or needs to be expanded. I've had nothing but trouble out of this vehicle. And spent too much money on it. There something wrong with the electric box and it throws codes for multiple problems, and when those problems are fixed it doesn't help. It's costing people money for nothing.

Takata recall my son gave me this vehicle and it sent me a warning about engine loss while driving. Sometimes it picks up and sometimes it doesn't. I also noticed it doesn't have a transmission fluid resivoir. Sometimes theirs a gas leak while idle and sometimes they don't.

The contact owns a 2007 Pontiac G6. While attempting to start the vehicle, the contact noticed a fuel odor in the vehicle. The contact exited the vehicle and found a fuel leak near the exhaust pipe. The contact turned off the vehicle. The contact called an independent mechanic and was informed that they were familiar with this type of failure with the vehicle. The dealer (bob howard Buick GMC, 13241 broadway ext, Oklahoma city, ok 73114, (405) 936-8800) was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 58,000.

Strong odor of gasoline after driving the car when parked outside or in a garage. No signs of fuel leaks on the ground. The vehicle has only 65K miles on it. This can pose a danger since many home have the hot water heater in the garage with a Pilot light. Also this fuel odor is around the exhaust system of the car. Do we have to wait until someone dies or loses their home before GM with take responsibility for poor engineering?

My car has a strong gas smell on th back passenger side. It's had been going on for almost a year. I'm finally able to have it looked at and hopefully fixed at a local dealership. The smell of gas is so strong it is nauseating and can be smelled several feet away from the car. I'm worried that there is a gas leak and it is the only vehicle I have to Transport my three children. I've noticed the smell seems to be worse when parked but gas can be smelt inside the car while driving as well.
