Driving north or RT 1, cars hit their brakes as did I and I downshifted from 5th, 4th, and what I thought was 3rd which was actually 1st. Due to the gears being so close together, it's too easy to mis-shift. Toyota has been notified of this problem but has chosen not to do a recall.
