Part II of the VSC/TRAC OFF alarms going off.
The day after the following occurred, it happened again:
(From previous report) "Driving at highway speed on a straight dry road my VSC OFF and TRAC OFF lights suddenly came on accompanied by a loud high pitched alarm. The steering seemed to grind and drag. Felt like the suspension was breaking apart. After a several seconds, the alarm and grinding/dragging stopped before I could get off the highway. The lights stayed lit."
New occurrence the next day:
Before I used the vehicle the next day, I checked the tire pressure and they were all about 32.5 psi so I inflated them to 35 psi. The next day I drove 40 minutes into town without incident, but on the way back home (several hours later and at night, so it was cooler) the same thing happened about 20 minutes into the drive, again at highway speeds. This time, the dragging and grinding was worse and the alarm lasted much longer. Again, it mysteriously stopped as I was preparing to exit the highway.
I have no idea what's causing it, but I'm afraid to drive it now.
