CarComplaints.com Notes: Toyota says the 2015 Sienna has been redesigned with "more swagger." Let's hope it's also been redesigned with less seat noise.

I have a 2015 Toyota Sienna SE. I am currently at 49092 miles and am purchasing my third set of tires. The tire wear on this vehicle is abnormally high. I have purchased high quality tires (Bridgestone 80K warranty, and Michelin 60K). First set of factory issued tires were worn down to 3/32-4/32 in 24000 miles, second set was used to 4/32 in 25000 miles. Vehicle is driven under normal conditions, both highway and city driving. This is a significant safety issue to me in regards to handing, steering and stopping and it feel it may be attributed to the design of the vehicle itself to include the suspension components, frame setup, and weight of vehicle.

After we got the recall with the sliding rear doors fixed, the passenger sliding door won't close anymore. It will go so far and then beep and open up again. I feel that it's a major safety issue and it needs to be addressed. After having the car for only 3 years, we shouldn't be having these kinds of problems with it.

We purchased the Sienna new off the lot in 2015, and have had to replace the windshield 5 times due to cracks, and it's already cracked again. Sometimes it cracked due to pebbles or rocks hitting it, but other times it just cracked spontaneously. Once it cracked out of nowhere, and another time it was when we sprayed it with low-pressure water.

Stopped at a red light when we heard an explosion, continued to drive when we became aware of noise and what appeared to be rushing wind. After checking all doors and windows and finding they were closed I just happened to slide open the cover leading to the sun roof and saw the exploded window and glass fragments.

Power sliding door recall phase 2 with wheelchair ramp. This is a safety issue. We received the recall notice over a year ago with no remedy yet. I have called multiple times throughout the year and there is still no eta. I don't even know if they are working to resolve this or they have just decided they don't care about disabled veterans.

We were driving down the road at 65mph on a low traveled highway when there was a loud bang. It was almost as if a gun went off in the van. We pulled off and inspected the van and found out that the sunroof was shattered. The glass was blown outward and no rocks are inside the glass. It is going to cost over 800$ to fix. I am confident that the sunroof exploded.

Power sliding doors, both driver and passenger, malfunctioned. While in park, the doors were open, when we pressed to button to close them, the doors came partly closed, then opened back up, then tried to close, then tried to open. Regardless of what we did, the door would not operate correctly. Eventually, we turned the switch to manual and were able to close the doors. Took the van to dealer. They said it was the motor and replaced it. That was 11-14-2016. Now 1-4-2017, the doors are not working properly again. And when I called the dealer, they never mentioned the recent recall. Neither have I received any notification from Toyota regarding the dangerous recall. I happened to hear about it from a family member. I spoke with the dealer about it, they said call Toyota. I called Toyota, they said that I would eventually get something in the mail. It is hard to believe that a manufacturer would be so irresponsible about major safety issues. Once I looked online, I found that the sliding door problem has been going on for years. How is it legal for a company to purposely continue to endanger people's lives?

When we first leased the vehicle the "new car smell" was overwhelming, it caused me headaches, nausea and a feeling of being disoriented. I brought it back to the dealer several times and they refused to do anything about it, stating "it's just the new car smell." This "smell" has not gone away and every time I drive the car I get a terrible taste in my mouth, a headache and nausea. I refuse to drive the car and my husband has now been driving the car with a car deodorizer to disguise the smell for 7 months and it has not dissipated. This is not fair that the dealer will not do anything and they deny/refuse to test or confirm any "toxicity" exists. I would like the car to be tested to relieve any concerns that I have for my families well being. We have young children and I am not sure of the dangers or effect this could have on their health. This is not fair to the consumer that a dealership would refuse to do anything to address or correct the situation, especially when it is a leased vehicle. Please help if you can!

After 1 week of purchase date of 2015 Toyota Sienna lw AWD, I've noticed buzz noises coming from under the front dashboard. I took the car for service at Toyota nashua at nashua, nh on 7/18 for buzz noising, auto-dimm rear view mirror failure, and strong burned smell from the ac vents. Buzz noising - dealership claimed it's normal op, but this is not acceptable since servo motor is out of norm operation but refuse the replace it. Auto-dimm rear view mirror - dealership claimed they can't fix since it's day time & don't have tool to verify the fault. Burning smell from ac vents - dealership claimed because it's new and they sprayed deodorizer.
