I have noticed there are not only one, but several complaints and TSB's listed for this issue. I contacted the dealer and they suggested a fix for 1,600 dollars. After I let the dealer know there were several TSB's they stated to call Toyota direct.
After speaking with a very "pushy" and not willing to listen to my side of things, they quickly ended the call with a direct disrespect of my side. After that I have got to tell ya, the Toyota Customer Service is terrible. I would never purchase another vehicle from them. They offered no suggestions to get the repair accomplished nor a resolution to all the TSB's that even mention safety within them. The customer Service group is the front lines for the manufacturer, total FAIL on Toyota's side.
So much for them standing behind their vehicles!
