On my way to the 8:15 AM Mass, I pulled into a parking space. My foot was on the brake and the card lunged over a cement clete and hit a cement load bearing column. Car had to be towed to dealer. It was in Toyota's lot for one month before an engineering analyst inspected it. The outcome was the engineer said my foot was on the accelerator when it crashed. I swear it wasn't. My car was considered totaled by my insurance company, but it is now a chargeable accident to me. It was not me, it was Toyota's problem. I am thankful I did not injure anyone and was not hurt either. I want Toyota to take responsibility for this accident. I loved this car and I am very disappointed that Toyota is blaming the accident on me. I am 77 years old and have never had an accident. I will never drive another Toyota and want my children (7) to never buy one. My daughter has a Toyota which she is going to sell because of this incident.
