A few times over a few days I felt a lag, but ignored it. When I was low on gas (it doesn't have a normal gas gauge so there was no way of telling just when it would run out) it stalled out and I was stuck on the side of the road). A friend came out and listened to it turn over, said it didn't sound like a car that just ran out of gas. It turned on twice for a short while but died again. We put some gas in and it very unhappily turned over, so I wanted to at least make it to a gas station and off the side of the road. I made it to a gas station, but it stalled again when I pulled in and I coasted into a spot. I didn't try to restart it. I put more gas in and it started again, but on the 45 minute ride home it felt like it almost stalled 3 more times even though it had over half of a tank. Luckily it's a rental. I didn't think there would be a car I liked less than mine.
