Have a 2006 Jetta 2.5, I am the second owner, my driver's side window works occasionally as well as the trunk with the keyless entry. If the door is closed, the power window does not work sometimes, I have to open the door slightly for it to work. The trunk will work if the door is closed sometimes. Works normal on rare occasions.

poor design should be a recall. Wiring harness is too damn short. 587.00 for new harness. had to solder wires and extend to make it work. Pain in the stern!

The driver's side window is slow and the auto up/down feature isn't working. And if the driver's door is open, I can't unlock doors, roll any windows up/down, open gas latch, or pop the trunk.

The driver's side window periodically decides it doesn't want to go up. It's power windows so I can't very well manually make it close without pulling off the door covering. It takes anywhere from 10 minutes to letting it sit overnight to get it to close. The other 3 windows work fine.
