The contact owns a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan. The contact stated when the vehicle was started, the instrument cluster was inoperable. Additionally, the air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and diagnosed with an air bag failure however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 37,147.
