The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. When the contact attempted to open the passenger and driver side windows, they remained closed. In addition, while driving at any speed, and making a left or right turn, the contact felt a pop in the steering wheel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the tie rod needed to be replaced; however, the window failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 60,400. Updated 11/20/15

The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the wiper module assembly and wiper vented motor housings were defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 09E009000 (visibility:windshield wiper/washer). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 38,000 and the current mileage was 38,500.

The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that he noticed that there was water leaking into the cab of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where they advised him that the window sealant needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired for the window sealant. The failure recurred after the repairs. The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 39,900.

The windshield wiper motor is failing on my 2007 Dodge Ram. There is a recall on the 2008 and 2009 models. It no longer operates on anything but intermediate, even when the knob is on high. This failure has caused a dangerous situation.
