The LED strip on the driver's side that illuminates when the headlights are turned on failed without warning which is very unsafe for nighttime driving. The system did not display an error message. The LEDs are built into the tail light assembly and cannot be replaced individually. Required buying a whole new tail light assembly. The dealer wanted $300 but I was able to find a new non-OEM unit for $150.
