I am 49, and have driven cars since age of 16 with regularity and I have NEVER had a car with suspension/drivetrain issues at 60k miles. Dealership said the control arms are gone and need to be replaced but the car only had 60k miles on it! $1500 to repair too! I haven't replaced them yet (8 months) and I am wearing down my front tires for sure...

Need to take it to Firestone to validate issue and get a cheaper repair estimate. I refuse to pay that kind of money for a repair and pay the dealer or manufacturer for such a repair. If this is true I'll be taking the car to the dealership ALOT less!

There is a major issue with AWD coupler which has been reported by many Infiniti QX60 owners. I too have this same issue on my vehicle but Infiniti is refusing to repair this issue as my warranty just expired. However, there was a tsb issued in September of 2018 for this exact same issue but Infiniti failed to notify us about this major issue. If I had known about this service bulletin while my vehicle was under warranty I would have definitely taken it to the Infiniti dealer for a repair under warranty.

My vehicle first started showing the same symptoms in December, 2022 and I had the powertrain warranty then, but my tires were replaced during that same time period and my focus was diverted. I was thinking that the tires were causing the sound at low speeds because this issue started just after the new tires were installed - however, the real issue was a faulty coupler.

Lack of TSB information provided by Infiniti has resulted in losing the opportunity to get this issue repaired under warranty.
