So this is a 16 year old car! Yikes there's rust on the frame. So? This happens to ALL Japanese framed SUV's such as Toyota Forerunner, Tacoma, Nissan Pathfinder. Some Jeeps too. The latest and greatest ice and snow chemicals are to blame, not necessarily the manufacturer. I caught mine early enough to spend a few bucks on rust removal tools and Eastwood rust treatment and abatement products, treating the frame inside and out. All in all, these are a great trucks and a deal used. Might I remind people that BMW 3 series cars of similar years as the Isuzu's in question loose their suspension console from normal driving, in all environments. BMW has yet to address that issue. What we have here is a cold weather state issue normal rust aggravated by a highly corrosive product to extreme rust. Ford Taurus springs rust causing breakage and tire damage. Ford's response? don't fix the spring, just add a plate so the spring doesn't cut the new tire you bought. Personally if they made a new frame, I'd spend a month rebuilding a ruhttp://www.carcomplaints.com/addreport.shtml#sted out Isuzu from the ground up,
