The consumer received recall notice 00I00200 concerning alternator failure about 40 days ago, the dealer didn't have yet the parts for recall repairs. This was part of a safety improvement campaign. Parts were received and the recall repair was finally completed.

When there is ice or snow covered on the road, vehicle does not stop properly. Brakes keep resetting, and vehicle takes a long time to come to a stop. Consumer has contacted dealer, and dealer stated that this was normal. Consumer states this occurs on bumpy roads too and vehicle skids through intersections upon normal braking, dealer has bleed the brakes. At times the brake light and alternator light will illuminate, dealer found that the alternator was not charging, dealer replaced alternator assembly.
