The contact was then informed by the dealer that the fuel system was defective and also needed to be serviced. While in their possession, the contact was informed that the parking brake module was damaged due to the dealer's mishandling of her vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired and remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 123,000.
