The 2014 and 2015 Model years has an aluminum front chassis that is too thin for the road. The chassis will crack under normal driving necessitating a 25,000 dollar repair that renders the car worthless. Because of this, no recall was done as it would affect sales. It would be fixed if it was caught during the warranty period.

Mine was in for an oil change. They found that mine had cracked and removed my engine and entire front end and started my repair without informing me of anything. I came to pick up my car and was told about it after the car was at the body shop. My car took 4 months for this to be fixed and the repair facility keep the car for 4 more months because they destroyed it in the process. They promised to deliver the car because I was going to chemo and recovering from surgeries.

When I was finally able to go pick up the car, they had no idea it was not delivered to me. I believe it was not delivered because of its condition. The car came back rusted, moldy, body damage and all manners of electrical problems: no navigation system, alarm comes on by itself, two batteries destroyed, and an active humidity sensor that lets the windows down when it rains to remove moisture from the car because it collected water from the four months out in the elements at the body shop without a front end. I have not used it since and have paid 1,800.00 per month for a car that is unusable for 28 months and counting.

I have gotten no help from Maserati NA or the servicing dealer. I have been unable to hire a lawyer to help me in all this time. They do not even want to listen to me. I have all the proof of what my car was two days before they got it and the problems that they caused while they had the car. Everything is documented and proven. Will someone please step up and help me. This has gone on for much longer than it had to. Thanks
