Mazda recalled the tail lift gate part and mine needed replacement. My lift gate failed on me and bopped me on the head while I was loading in luggage from a road trip.
The hydraulics failed and per Mazda, they installed the wrong hydraulics system for the tail lift gate from factory due to a mistake in the parts department... What!!?? How could such a thing even happen? I thought a Japanese manufacturer was suppose to have top notch quality... where is the quality?
Never buying a Mazda again.
