I purchased this car for my daughter. When it had 40,000.00 miles on it it went though a phase where we had to keep jumping it to start. All the lights, radio, etc. worked, however the car wouldn't turn over. I took it to a garage and they were unable to find the problem. Now it's concurring again. The battery is at full charge and the lights work, etc. But even with running the car for awhile, it won't start. Before we had a 50/50 chance of it starting, but not now.
I can't help but wonder if this has to do with the recall on the Mazda 3's regarding the clearance between the engine harness and the housing of the starter motor!! I am taking it to the Mazda dealership tonight to see what they find. Has this happened to a lot of other people with a 2010 Mazada 3S?
