The contact owns a 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 MPH and slowing for traffic, the rear end of the vehicle started to drift to the right. The contact heard an abnormal sound coming from the rear driver-€™s side of the vehicle. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had driven the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the entire rear subframe needed to be replaced due to extensive corrosion. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
