I was driving around 75MPH when my suv stopped accelerating, the steer was hard and all alarms turned ON. Fortunately there was no much traffic and i was able to move aside the road.

I've been reading the complaints on Mariner and Explorer 05/06 models and its exactly what happened to me. I had to pay around 1500 usd for an used PCM and new coils.

Dont know why Ford/Mercury didnt advised about this, they can cause severe accidents. I'll never buy a Ford/Mercury again!
