This is the 2nd year that I've had this issue with the brakes locking up during winter season. We had a little snow less than .25 inch this morning. It's very dangerous to be on the expressway or anywhere for that matter and your brakes lock up. I'm taking it to the dealership next week. I saw a report on this very issue recently on the news. So Mercury Milan dealers must know it exist.

Update from Jan 10, 2017: Very dangerous situation, on expressway when brakes locked up. Brake pedal never went back up. Stayed down. This only happens in ice and snow. ABS Event, brake pedal doing down to floor. Dealership inspected brake system. Findings: Vehicle needs a hydraulic control unit.
