OK.... The first time my starter went out 2 yrs ago (1 yr after buying car) I had it replaced. Six months later it went out again but new mechanic said other shop put it in wrong and wires shorted out. Now 1 1/2 yrs later the starter has gone out again!!! It is in the shop now. Anyone else having this problem? ... other than the bad mechanic issue.
Update from Sep 4, 2013: Starter replaced and heavier battery cables added.... thought being that cables were not heavy enough.
