The contact owns a 2007 Mitsubishi Raider. While driving various speeds, the vehicle jerked intermittently. In addition, all the instrument panel warning indicators remained illuminated while driving. The vehicle was taken to an unknown Mitsubishi dealer located in aguada, pr who stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and could not be serviced. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 14V795000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.

The tail light fell off due to the plastic flange that holds the screws to the tail light assembly being melted. Obviously an electrical problem and dangerous one. There was a big puff of black smoke and then the light and wires fell out. I took to a mechanic today who tried to glue it together so we could drive it. My grandson drives this vehicle to college. Please let me know what I need to do to have this corrected"?

While driving 2007 Mitsubishi Raider on June 3rd, 2010 the vehicle lost all power while driving, resulting in no control of vehicle. The vehicle was serviced on June 1st 2010 and the battery was checked good. When taken to Mitsubishi dealer they said the only thing they could find was a dead battery. $5000 worth of damage was done to vehicle as it hit the center median wall, luckily no one was hurt though. There was no warning before hand that anything was about to happen. We were driving and then the truck just died, the engine quit, lights went out everything went black. We started drifting into the lane next to us almost coming in contact with another vehicle. The steering wheel was turned hard to the left to avoid hitting other vehicles when we went left hard and hit the median. I had my wife and 3 kids in the car and to this day we wonder if the same thing will happen again. I don`T want another family to go through what we went through in fear of someone getting seriously hurt or killed. If the median wall was not there and it was just grass, there would have been a very good chance that the truck would have flipped. As stated earlier the battery was just checked 3 days prior and should not have been bad, even though the vehicle should not have died while driving as a result of a dead battery. The recent Toyota recall is for the same problem that I have encountered. I know they are different companies and manufacturer's but could there be a coincidence between the two. It is an experience to lose all power of a vehicle and hoping to avoid hurting anyone. Thank-you

Passenger side power window works randomly. Every 5 or 6 times you try to roll the window down it will not go. Then it will start working fine again. I am almost certain it is a faulty driver side main window switch. Chrysler says it functions "as designed".
