I understand that I have high millage but I just had the top half of the motor done 30,000 miles ago. The only thing that has not caused me any problems is the transmission. I have had a problem with the security light since the car hit 80K. The car wont start and you have to wait 10 min till you can try to restart it. My alternator went out at 50K. Replaced the intake gaskets at around 100K. They are notorious for leaking. Which in turn messed up the pistons. Now my motor has ceased and I am looking at spending about 3500-$4000 on fixing that problem with a new motor. If only Gm could have made the rest of the car that great we would not have these problems.
