wheels / hubs problem
Wheel bearings/hub had to be replaced after nearly complete failure (complete failure would have been the tire locking into place). It started with a grinding sound coming from a wheel - best heard at low speeds and while turning.

This was the first time the hub assembly was put on the driver and passenger side. Just a few months later, we had to replace both sides again!

I heard a grinding/rumble noise when going through a parking garage. Took it in and I needed new brakes not a suprise, but the right front wheel bearing was also bad.

bullshit....had one wheel bearing go then 2 months later the second one goes:(...this Alero is a big pain in the ass cant wait for the intake to start leaking...im at 110,000km :)...

I have had this problem for a short time, but never the less it is another problem.
I will try to see how much this if gonna cost. you make your car payments on time
and you get screwed either way.
