The contact owns a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora. The contact stated while depressing the brake pedal at various speeds the vehicle began to sway. NHTSA recall campaign number: 99V081000 (service brakes, hydraulic) could have been related to the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 175,000. Updated 10/2/14 the consumer stated she came out of a store to find it was snowing. At the first attempt to stop the vehicle shifted to the right and the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went up on a snow bank. Updated 3/30/2015
