- Cleaning EGR Passageways In 3.1L 1995 Cutlass Ciera - I tried this method to fix stalling problem and it worked. The following did not work: replaced spark plugs and wires, air filter, fuel filter and added fuel injector cleaner to gas tank. Carbon build up was so hard I had to use an 8 inch long coat hanger wire followed by the one foot long braided cable and carburetor cleaner spray while reaming out the passages with a drill.. I did not need to replace expensive EGR valve.

car runs when it wants then stalls it shakes for some times then stops I took off the mas flow sensor and this has worked but i changed the ignition coil and new spark plugs new wiring im thinking of changing the computer I took it to a friend to see the problem but nothing please help
