Bought the car from a used lot in 2013. it ran great for about a week. then it began having problems with not starting and giving us a constant security light. we complained about it constantly to the lot we bought it from. it was not fixed and it came with no warranty more or less, but complained for a month before giving up.

It would take 10-15 minutes at times to reset itself, and sometimes up to a half an hour. By either turning on or off the alarm and letting it sit, pushing the car in reverse a couple of feet and then setting the alarm, and sometimes checking doors and seatbelts to make sure they were in place including the trunk. It has never been fully fixed/repaired.

we then received a recall notice about the ignition. could not get it taken care of right away due to misplacing one of the keys. they wanted both sets at the same time. By the time we found the other key, the car had already gotten to the point where it won't start at all.

We took the keys to the dealer and they added a boot/plastic cover over the existing cover and added an extra metal ring. the car started right up and ran for 2 days. we had to have it towed home. then we decided to try the extra key. Again it started and ran for a couple more days. it's been sitting in front of the house ever since.

I went and talked to a mechanic, who seemed to appear to know what is/was up with it and explained to me how to reset the system. "It did not work!" We are still paying for a worthless piece of junk that wont run. My advise...

Don't buy anything that GM has had their hands on... Period!

I am unable to start my car. The dash starts to flash and beep but the car won't turn over. I have replaced the battery and now I am being told it may be the anti-theft module/sensor. But I am not able to find anyone in my area who is GM certified
