The Hill Start Assist (HSA) system is not detecting the engine torque, then even when the car is no longer in danger of rolling backward the hill-start assist control is not turned off. Actually the HSA just is turned off two seconds after its activation.

I am not sure if this problem is a design/development problem, however as for me this is a safety issue as the risk of accidents increase, so as the reliability of clutch is decrease.

Update from Oct 11, 2013: In fact the car had not a problem, it was just incorrect utilization of the system (Hill Start Assist - HSA), My mistake was to accelerate without the clutch reaching the bite point and in this situation the HSA system just release after 2 seconds. It seems to be just a question of training for getting rapidly the bite clutch point. What I have to regret is the missing information of opel Portugal representatives (official garages) about as to work properly with Hill Start Assist system. I have been at Opel representatives two times for complaining about this problem and nobody informed me how to use properly the HSA system. As I know there are more Opel owners that are not aware how to use HSA properly, what can be a safety problem.
