Windshield wipers do not park properly, continue to operate when switch is turned off. Wipers come on when left and right turn signals are engaged and will not stop when turned off.

I have several friends with the same vehicle and the same problem(transmission ruined due to computer failure/malfunction. Also the master switch in these vehicles is faulty(that is the switch for windshield wipers/turn signal) that causes wipers to come on of their own Accord. I am afraid to speculate on the problems that could arise if the turn signal portion was to malfunction as well.
