: the contact stated while driving 25 mph, the power failed and the vehicle was coasted to a stop. When the vehicle was taken to the service dealer, the problem was identified as a failed PCM (power control module, which was replaced. Later, the air conditioning fuse blew. When the vehicle was returned to the service dealer, the problem was identified as worn wiring at the connection to the fuse box. The wiring was repaired, but the vehicle lost all power again, while driving 25 mph. The vehicle was returned to the service dealer who determined that the wiring harness had failed and needed to be replaced, before further investigations could be made. The manufacturer was not alerted.

Electrical wiring problems: Everything electrical in the vehicle will sometimes shut down. Problelms with vehicle in the past have come from defective wiring. Dealer insists that consumer bring vehicle in when having electrical wiring problems.

Transmission/torque converter/valve cover gasket/thermostat/oxygen sensor/serpentine belt failed, and oxygen sensor and wiring harness shorted out. In addition ABS brakes failed 4 times, once resulting in an accident. Dealer also replaced front brake pads/rotors.

Consumer stated after parking and turning the ignition off, about ten minutes there after, the vehicle caught on fire due to an electrical short within the engine compartment.consumer also stated tha ttwo weeks before the vehicle was experiencing problems with an electrical short in the tail lights. Cause of the fire was determined as an electrical fire.
