My fuel pump went out in May 2008. After spending $300 to replace it, the car still wasn't running right. Had an Additional $800 in repairs made in January and the car still is not right. Have replaced almost everything one can imagine, fuel filters, dist. cap & rotor button, spark plugs & wires (twice), dist. module, etc, etc, still no change. The car runs smooth sometimes and others it runs like an old carburated motor on a very cold morning. The "check engine" light isn't staying on so mechanics say they can't get any info from the brain. Anyone have a solution except scrap it?
