The mechanic guy told me that if I had not changed it in 2 months, I could have lost control of my vehicle.

I was going to make a left turn on a (not so busy street) and my steering felt stuck! I was making a wide left turn enough to turn before hitting a curb. I pulled over on the side of the street and turned my car off then turned it back on and then it worked okay again. 2 days later I came back from Walmart and just as I was going to turn left into my house driveway the dam steering stopped again! I shut it off and turn it back on again so it worked and I drove carefully and parked the car.

I recently learned that this is an electric steering? What the heck is this all about?!

THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. Now I don't feel like taking the Hi-way (just to be safe) I wish I had known about these things before purchasing it from a dealer. If I can shed some light into this car it's that for the first 7 months of driving this car it was okay. Now I'm starting to see the reality.

I will never get a GM again and will do a hard research on any type of car I purchase. I would not recommend to anyone on getting a car that's Electric power steering. Even If I traded the car to someone or some dealer I know they will also at some point have the same problem. Might as well send it to the scrap and get $300 right? Buying a new car is not that easy and investing in your money can take some time.
