It takes four visits for the same problem before Porsche Germany will finally authorize replacing the bad part. If not for the warranty, the module costs of $20,000 plus labor. At the time of writing, we are waiting for the part. Others have waited up to 4 months for a new HV battery module. Again fortunate the warranty provides a loaner. Weighing my options after getting the car back. A five year extended warranty cost $8500. The HV battery module is the only part warrantied until 100,000 miles or eight years. All other components, Charging port, regenerative braking, HV battery cooling system, etc. are not.
