At random times while driving you'll get a message on the driver console "Active braking disconnected". You have paid several thousand $s for this safety feature and you can forget about relying on it.
Renault have identified this as a faulty unit (faulty assembly during manufacturing of the sensor) and will replace it as the car is still under warranty. Been a couple months wait so far.
