I have 130,000 miles on my 2008 Saturn Outlook and I have had to replace the headlight wire harnesses on both sides and multiple light bulbs. The most recent time I replaced the lightbulb ~30 days ago and it is burnt out already.

I have a 2008 Saturn Outlook which I purchased new. I have had multiple problems with the front headlight wiring harness burning out/melting. This has happened twice to both headlights. The first time this happened I was able to have the dealer (GM at that time) fix the problem under warranty. The last 3 times I have had to pay for this myself since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. GM was willing to fix it, but not cover the cost, so I took it to my local repair shop because it was less expensive there.

Low beam driver's side headlamp on Saturn Outlook. Bulb appeared to fail but on further inspection of the wiring harness it was melted at the connector. This happened in Jan/Feb of 2011 and now (Jul) the passenger side is out. Replaced the light bulb initially on both only to have it continuously go out. Inspecting wiring harness on the passenger side later today. This clearly appears to be a fire hazard.
