car would roll in gear, would die when stopped (and not allowed to roll), and would refuse to go into gear unless timed perfectly. turned out the slave cylinder was bad, and because it's all plastic, the entire master/slave cylinder assembly had to be replaced. the synchros are also on their way out, and got worse because of this. i was able to drive 'er to my personal mechanic, who checked it out and fixed the issue for about $300usd.
